The most beautiful treasures of the ocean are found far beneath the wavy surface. Longines, the famous Swiss watch maker based in Saint-Imier, gives you a colorful option to explore the wonders under water with the new Hydroconquest diving chronograph. The rubber-strapped stainless steel case adorned with a red rotating bezel houses the Caliber L688, a self-winding mechanical column wheel chronograph movement beating at 28'800 vibrations per hours and providing 54 hours of power reserve. The dial is marked for hours with SuperLuminova painted numerals and polished silver hands. Other functions include a small second hand at 9 o’clock, a central 60 second hand, 30 minutes counter at 3 o’clock and 12 hours counter at 6 o’clock. The most important set of features is the 30-bar water resistance – it is, after all, a diver’s watch, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several anti-reflective layers and a secure unidirectional rotating crown. For a diver’s watch in its category, there is truly nothing much any water sport enthusiasts could wish for.
