Alex Sepkus, the man, is different. He is just far from normal. This translates to his creations. Being an avid reader, this maestro of design draws gets his greatest inspirations from the literature his brain consumes. "When I design a piece of jewelry it is as if I am writing a book. Each design is a chapter, not in words, but in shapes and textures. I make precious stones and cold metal speak.” said the eccentric man. His creative process maybe different than most designers but his love of quality materials and his flair for creating things of beauty is not so different from the top jewelers in the world; a genus where he already belongs. While in his first five years of his practice, Alex Sepkus’ efforts won him the New Designer of the Year award. This recognition propelled his works to be showcased in the finest specialty stores all over the country. His fixation on the little details is shared with his customers by using an 18th century loupe. This enables the customers and admirers to appreciate and admire the intricacies of fine details on each piece of art. With beauty as his foremost priority, Alex Sepkus continues to dazzle us with his quirky and playful creations. For your Alex Sepkus cravings visit Shreve & Co. – authorized dealers for Alex Sepkus.

“All of my creations must be manipulated by hand in order for them to preserve a unique and luxurious experience.” These are the words of the master craftsman who manipulates gold and gemstones with masterful ease and decadence. His philosophy is all about the pure expression of everyday luxury blossoming from the skillful manipulation of materials. This is apparent in his coil creations that have garnered women patrons of discerning taste that regard a Marco Bicego piece as a luxurious purchase for one’s self. Marco Bicego’s inspiration come from his travels. Proofs of this are the names of his collections. Murano, Marrakech, and Jaipur Sunset among others. His Old World Italian pedigree and penchant for modern luxury has allowed Marco Bicego to position the brand in between the highbrow world of precious jewelry and the convenience of daily accessories. But in these achievements, it is his ‘guitar strings’ that he is known for. These guitar string coils were created in early 2000. They can be worn stylishly and youthful or classical and elegant. They are a testament to the playfulness of the Marco Bicego Seduction. For your Marco Bicego pieces, visit Shreve & Co. – authorized dealer for Marco Bicego.

Once, there was a Canadian artist and designer that toured Bali in the 1970’s. And like what Bali does to most people, he was enchanted. His interest forced him to stay and to learn the silver-smithing techniques of the locals. Some of them were descendants of artisans that made jewelry in the royal courts. This experience made it possible for John Hardy, above is his story, to apply new concepts to traditional Balinese jewelry making techniques. From then on, the founder became a brand; an icon to the world – an icon of "East-meets-West". Every piece is designed and intricately crafted in the brand’s compound in Bali. To this day, this mixing of traditions continues. Diversity is the mainstay in the John Hardy line and even in the company. Just like the stunning pieces of jewelry, the John Hardy team is compromised of talents from the East and West. The international management team members come from Europe, Australia, America and Asia. The virtuosos handling the pieces come from Bali, Sumatra, Java and other Indonesian islands. Many of them are from the lineage of artisans in the royal courts of Bali dating back to the time of kings. For jewelries that are fit for the ancient royal courts, visit Shreve & Co. – authorized dealer for John Hardy.

Christopher Slowinski’s passion for perfection allowed him to put a mark in the jewelry business. Working as an apprentice back in the day, he learned the different processes employed in jewelry making. To his dismay, he found out that many companies sacrifice quality to cut cost. This wasn’t the way to go for Slowinski. He figured that through the development of newer and more efficient technology, they can reduce cost while improving quality. This was his dream but it wasn’t just a dream for long. Aided by his classic jewelry training joined with new technological advances, Christopher Slowinski didn’t just become a renowned designer; he became a brand. His company Christopher Designs knows nothing else but the dedication to the creating of high quality jewelry using the best materials around. His tenure in the industry afforded him many national and international patents. One of these is the Crisscut Diamond – this is not related whatsoever to his name but to the cut that makes any diamond more breathtaking with additional fire and brilliance. To know more about Christopher Designs and the Crisscut Diamond first-hand, visit Shreve & Co. – authorized dealer for Christopher Designs.

Uniqueness is hard to achieve when you are trying to please everyone. But when you have a niche; when you have accolades that share your tastes, compromise will not be a word in your vocabulary. This is true to Stephen Webster, the man, the brand. “…I knew I could give people something exciting, that I'd never have been able to do if I'd been making three-stone diamond rings for the trade." This statement made by Webster himself encapsulates his style; a style that has always brought excitement and intrigue by making jewels stand out and speak. Known for leaning heavily on his rock and roll influence, Stephen Webster has been a go-to for many A-listers. He had done works for Madonna for Guy Richie, Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera and adorned Lisbeth Salander star Rooney Mara for the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie.
