I have a question about a piece of jewelry or watch that I see online, who should I call?

You are welcome to call our Palo Alto location at 650-327-2211 during business hours. For more information about our stores, please visit our Locations page here.

Are all of your pieces online in stock?

If an item is available for purchase on our website, it is in stock in one of our stores*. However, we also make these products available in our Shreve & Co. stores and there is a small chance that an item could sell in one of our stores and isn't removed from the website immediately. If you would like to schedule a viewing, we will hold any piece of jewelry or watch until your arrival. You can do that by scheduling an appointment here. *Please Note: Some of our items may need to be special ordered to accommodate specific sizing.

Do you offer appraisals?

Yes, we are happy to appraise your family heirloom, estate collection or new purchase at our Palo Alto location. We provide a new sale document at no additional charge when you purchase an item new from Shreve & Co. Jewelers. Contact us here for more information.

Do you design custom engagement rings or jewelry?

Yes, we have a team of goldsmiths that can help you create a one-of-a-kind piece. If you would like to make an appointment to speak with our design team about a custom design, please contact us here. You can also see samples of our work here.

Do you service watches or replace batteries?

Yes, we can service almost every Swiss timepiece and have extensive experience repairing watches made by Rolex, Patek Philippe,  IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Nomos, Panerai, Tudor, and many other fine watch brands.  If you would like to schedule a watch service, please contact us here.

Do you repair watches and jewelry?

Yes, at Shreve & Co. Jewelers we offer a wide variety of jewelry and watch repairs. Depending on the amount of work that needs to be completed and the cost of the materials involved, the price of your repair may vary but we will provide you with an estimate of the cost and a timeline for your approval before we begin any work. Do you engrave jewelry, watches and gifts?

Whether you are looking for a personalized message, monogram, family crest, logo, drawing, or signature, our engraving team will create a work of art that will can be passed down from generation to generation. If you would like to receive an estimate for an engraving project, please contact us here. *Please Note: Not all items are good candidates for engraving. We are pleased to inspect your item to determine its eligibility and successful outcome.

Do you offer complimentary gift wrapping?

Yes, we offer gift wrapping at no additional charge on any of our items.

Do you buy estate, vintage or pre-owned jewelry?

We do buy jewelry and watches directly from the public depending on the piece. Please contact our estate jewelry manager here for more information.

Is Shreve & Co. Jewelers still a family owned business?

Yes, we are a family owned business. Shreve & Co. Jewelers is currently owned and managed by the Schiffman and Suna families who have been dedicated industry professionals since 1893. Read more about our story here.
