Admirers, experts, and creators of fine watches will gather in Geneva for Watches and Wonders 2023. This is an event that has spanned three decades and brought together the finest watchmakers on earth in a celebration of craft and artistry.

Professionals in the industry and VIPs will have an opportunity to meet and discuss the craft of watchmaking March 27th through the 31st. On April 1st and 2nd, the public will be invited in to see the latest innovations and designs by the top creators.

Originally called “Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH),” this event began in 1991 as a way for watchmakers to have an exclusive trade show. For many years it was a private event, and one could only attend if invited. In 2020, SIHH rebranded itself at Watches and Wonders and invited in the public. As many as 23,000 people attended that year.

Like many events, the pandemic temporarily pushed Watches and Wonders online, but this year they are ready to welcome nearly 50 brands and allow the public to rub elbows with some of the most prestigious horologists.

This year, Watches and Wonders will have two special programs. The first called “In the City” will take over the center of the city of Geneva. Evening festivities will be planned in watch boutiques, guided tours, a rally, and conferences. The highlight will be on Thursday the 30th with street artists, bands, and a concert from a yet unnamed electro star!

On Saturday and Sunday, Watches and Wonders will present “In the Salon.” This promises to be more than a trade show! The public will be able to listen and learn from the skilled craftspeople, conferences, tours, and exhibitions.

Even if a trip to Geneva isn’t in your plans, you can be sure you’ll soon see new creations and innovative technology as a result. We’re big fans of watches and watchmaking, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on the exciting products coming from Watches and Wonders.
